Gyandeep- Health Insurance A to Z
Adding to iTalent Learning Centre’s cap of achievements is another feather- the learning and development programme we recently organised successfully for one of our distinguished clients. Our client had the purview of effectively increasing awareness in the field of Healthcare management and Health Insurance amongst their customers and stakeholders. They determined that the optimal way to achieve this would be to educate competent employees regarding various quintessential aspects of the domain while also giving them an opportunity to expand their area of expertise. This endeavour led to the birth of “Gyandeep- Health Insurance A to Z, a comprehensive training programme focussing on the nitty-gritties in Healthcare management and Health Insurance.
With an intensive interactive episode lasting for two days, the employees had the chance to glance into the depths of healthcare management and insurance sector. The session started with introductory topics such as history, background and current trends, changing lifestyle and disease patterns that have inevitable financial implications on hospitalization, relationship management and customer service. Second day of the training programme dealt with radical technical aspects of the domain, including basics of Underwriting, Coverages and Exclusions under Mediclaim Policy, Claims, Audits and Frauds that left the attendees feeling perceptive.
Important highlights of the programme included details regarding the Social Health Schemes and Product Benchmarking that enhanced the understanding of the attendees in these aspects to suit the current market requirements.
The content was designed so as to incorporate not only theoretical details but also integrated case studies and real-life scenarios to provide hands-on training. And of course, “All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy. Games such as crossword puzzles, word-search, pictionary and challenging team-building exercises added an entertainment factor. The overall programme was directed towards being reciprocative instead of following a classroom module and the trainers and attendees, both, enjoyed the learning experience.
Coming to trainers, we were successful in bringing to the table well-experienced Industry professionals in the niche- field of healthcare management and insurance, including renowned medical practitioners who were pleased to share their prowess. This helped us to achieve our aspiration to furnish the attendees with an insightful and enriched experience.

PRAYAS 2.0- An Experience a Beginning
Think Rise- that’s what gave birth to this new project called “Prayas 2.0. Just like the name ,Prayas was an attempt to conduct a focused training to Mahindra Insurance employees through online and offline modules for Brokers examination.
At iTalent we believe that “at every stage, Talent Matters. So when broking license became compulsory in India without any formal training which was part of the olden days, we were determined to find an optimal way to reach maximum brokers by educating their employees in quintessential aspects of the broking domain while giving them both feel and opportunity of broking examination. This endeavor led us to creating a focused online and offline comprehensive module which is known as “Prayas 2.0 today.
With an intensive interactive episode lasting for over a week , the employees had the chance to glance into the depths of insurance basics and various products which are part of their day to day activities. The session started with introductory topics such as history, background and current trends, acts that gave birth to insurance in the world and impacts on Indian economy. This activity was followed each day with new product additions, whether its Fire, Engineering, Motor, Marine, Liability or health- they went through entire aspects of these products with an overall view of underwriting and claims related to these various class of business.

And of course, “All work and no play make Jack a dull boy. Games such as crossword puzzles, match the cards, find odd man out and challenging team-building exercises added an entertainment factor. The overall programme was directed towards being reciprocative instead of following a classroom module and the trainers and attendees, both, enjoyed the learning experience. Each day post the training there were online line tests which gave them a feeling that they were part of the actual examination hence preparing them to fight small battles to win the final war called “Brokers Examination
This story would not be complete if we do not mention the trainers who burned the midnight oil along with iTalent Team. Like our previous programs we were yet again successful in bringing to the table well-experienced Industry professionals in the niche- field of insurance, who were pleased to share their prowess. This helped us to achieve our aspiration to furnish the attendees with an insightful and enriched experience.
